Nothing could make Grey and Steele’s dangerous liaisons steamier than an equally provocative soundtrack. Zayn and Swift have set the pace and tone for the second installment of E.L. James’s novel adaptation to big screen with an atmospherically hot collab in “I Don’t Wanna To Live Forever”.
This time, an unexpected team-up between R&B prince Nick Jonas and rapper extraordinaire Nicki Minaj in “Bom Bidi Bom” whets our appetite even more.
“Bom Bidi Bom” showcases Minaj’s ribald rhymes and Jonas’s exuberant crooning to a titillating sexy dancehall and woozy track laced with explicit sexual references. Jonas sets the sinister ambience and lingering couplets like: “You play the front, I’ll play the back, you’ll be the first, I’ll be the last…” and Minaj boldly fires up with bon mots like “I’m about to blow and I ain’t talkin’ Samsung” enough to say both artists have delivered another winner to rouse the darker shades of angst-ridden inner forces.
