“Lust for Life” by Lana Del Rey feat. The Weeknd

Nothing seems to beat a collaboration like Lana Del Rey and The Weeknd. For the third time, two of the biggest names in the music industry today have paired up to dish out a smoky atmospheric excursion and cryptically titled song “Lust for Life”.

Del Rey was fresh off from her latest hit “Love” about young love transcending eras, but she comes closer here than ever to mainstream conjuring apathy and dissonance masked for “lust for life” in Hollywood style breathing listlessly these lines: “In these stolen moments/The worScreen-Shot-2017-05-22-at-10.46.52-AM-616x440ld is mine.”

The Weeknd continues to defy your expectations matching Del Rey note for note atop synths and textures with his tender falsetto that carpe the noctem: “Take off, take off, take off all of your clothes” and yes, an invitation to his nihilistic world. Hear for yourself.
